West Country cheese producer Ilchester launches hot cross bun-inspired Cheddar cheese for Easter!
The makers of the world's first and best-selling Christmas advent calendar are eggstatic to be launching their very own Easter-inspired cheese for 2024.
West Country cheese producer, Ilchester®, which is also the brand behind the UK's number one Cheese Advent Calendar, has sought inspiration from all of the fabulous food associated with Easter and have launched the llchester Spiced Blueberry Hot Cross Bun Cheese.
This deliciously tasty seasonal cheese combines the creaminess of the Ilchester cheddar with real blueberry pieces, orange peel, dark raisins and lightly spiced with cinnamon.
The new Easter cheese will make the perfect novelty addition to any Easter weekend cheeseboard, or paired with sourdough crackers, or topped on sweet biscuits such as a digestive biscuit or shortbread. For Easter morning treat, the Ilchester Hot Cross Bun Cheese loaded into a croissant or melted on top of a hot toasted crumpet is guaranteed to get the day off to a great start.
