Advertising Guidance
Thanks for your interest in featuring with Warm Welcome Magazine, below you will find the specification we need to put your artwork together. You will see a variety of different template options - these are some of the usual layouts the Design Team will use however other options are available upon request. If you do have a specific layout in mind please get in contact with the team when possible.
Preferred formats for all Warm Welcome Magazine features:
We have an inhouse design team who will be able to proof content to you before we go live.
Please ensure when sending content across it fits the following requirements:
All images must be 300DPI or very close to which will ensure that the best quality is produced when printing.
Ideally image files will be in the following formats: JPEG, PNG, SVG or TIFF.
Please ensure you remember to include any logo files that you may want to feature.
EDITORIAL CONTENT
Editorial content will preferably be sent over in a Word Document or a Google Document.
Key things to remember:
Include a title: This will ideally be no more than 14 words and will be something that will grab the reader’s attention
Sub headings: When piecing together any articles to feature with us - please ensure that you remember to clearly indicate any additional sub headings you desire throughout the text.
Call to action: Remember to entice readers to get in contact with you directly at the end of your feature by adding company contact details you wish to include or a direct link to your products/services.
Word Count
When featuring content within our monthly magazine we would recommend sticking to the following specification if possible to match the overall theme:
Double Page Spread entries require around 900 Words with 2-4 Hi-Res images
Full Page Entries require around 450 Words with 1-3 Hi-Res Images
PRE-MADE ARTWORK
If you have the ability to create artwork yourself then please ensure content is sent across in the correct dimensions as listed below. You will be able to find what dimensions you need underneath each of the magazine features listed. Please send ready made/pre-made artwork in a PDF or high resolution format which is easily accessible.
Double Page Spread
When advertising over a double page spread with us, the content you supply will be put together on a layout similar to the options below. We want to ensure that we publish your content in a way that best matches your campaign and follows the theme of our magazine. In most scenarios we will feature any pre-made adverts on the right hand page and editorial content will usually be featured on the left hand page.
Pre-Made Artwork can be sent across in the following dimensions:
Height x width (mm) - Type 262 x 390 - Trim 297 x 420 - Bleed 303 x 426

Full Page Position
Content that is sent across will be placed on a template following the Warm Welcome theme, below are some examples of how your content will be displayed. Pre-Made Artwork can be sent across in the following dimensions: Height x width (mm) - Type - 262 x 180 - Trim - 297 x 210 - Bleed - 303 x 216
Half Page Position
Half Page Magazine features will need to be around 300 words with accompanying imagery as seen on the example templates below. Pre-made artwork can also be sent across to Design Team to work with in the following dimensions: Height x width (mm) - Type - 128 x 180 - Trim - 145 x 210 - Bleed - 151 x 216
Quarter Page Position
Quarter Page magazine positions may be selected and we would advise confirming the word count with the sales person you agree the position with (The amount of content required may vary depending on reason for this entry). Usually content will be around 200 words with accompanying imagery to select from. Content supplied will likely be promoted in the following template layouts however this may change if the position has been booked to be apart of a bigger campaign promotion such as a show preview. Pre-made artwork can be submitted for the Design Team to work with in the following dimensions: Height x width (mm) Type 128 x 90
Website Feature
When featuring content on our website we would advise keeping the word count to around 900 words with supporting imagery for standard articles. Entries into our Events Calendar or other areas of our website may have alternative specifications therefore we would advise speaking to the sales person the position was booked with for confirmation on this. Please remember to include a call to action when featuring on our website to entice readers to click through to your main website along with full list of products and services.
Newsletter Feature
Carousel Banners
Category Banners
Things to be aware of when featuring within our Monthly Newsletter:
The title along with a small snippet of the article submitted will be featured on the newsletter. The title and snippet is placed on the newsletter to encourage readers to click through to the full article if interested.
The full article will be hosted on the Warm Welcome website in the most suited location unless agreed otherwise.
The monthly newsletter is sent out to our entire list of subscribers which notifies readers of our latest issue going live along with a selection of the best articles chosen by the Warm Welcome team.
Things to be aware of reserving a Carousel Banner position:
The dimensions for the Carousel Banner are 930x250 Pixels.
The Carousel Banner will need to be in one of the following formats - JPEG, PNG, GIF. If the supplied Carousel Banner is an animated GIF - the animation must not be longer than 6 seconds total.
The Carousel Banner position is visible as soon as any client visits our website via our landing page. This position is not fixed however which means it may transition to other imagery/company promotions after a 6 second period.
Things to be aware of when reserving a category banner:
Each news category has a banner which is a position which can be reserved.
Category banners will need to have the following dimensions: 1920 x 300 Pixels.
The Category Banners will need to be in one of the following formats - JPEG, PNG, GIF
