Calligraphy Classes

This autumn The Grange Hotel will host its first calligraphy class. In a xx-hour beginner’s workshop led by Calligraphy Harrogate, guests will be introduced to modern calligraphy where they will learn the art of exquisite hand lettering. The class will guide budding calligraphers through all the basic techniques and tips to get started. With numbers limited to a small group, there will be plenty of one on one tuition time to ensure guests get plenty of practise and develop their skills. Each guest will be provided with a modern calligraphy kit to use during the class and to take home with them for practising their new skill. The class will be accompanied with delicious cream tea served with tea or coffee.

The cost for the morning of tuition, refreshments, and the modern calligraphy kit is £50.00 per person. The first Calligraphy Class will take place on 24th September.

Autumnal Flower Arranging

Guests looking to embrace autumn in all its colours can book onto the hotel’s flower arranging masterclass. Here they will receive kits to create their own unique floral arrangements using seasonal plants and flowers made up orange, yellow and filemot to take home and cherish. Professional florists will guide the decorative flower arranging workshop, demonstrating how to arrange the seasonal display for guests to then have a go themselves. The day includes tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and afternoon tea and a glass of fizz after the class.

The Flower Arranging Masterclass costs £49 per person and will run for approx. two hours. The class will take place on 21st October.
