Lolly Raises More Than £2,300 For Kids Inspire

Amazing team takes on the Colchester Stampede Challenge

Nine members of the team at Lolly (the UK hospitality software house), took part in the recent 10k Colchester Stampede in support of charity partner Kids Inspire, raising an impressive £2,393.73 for children and young people’s mental health support services.

The team completed the fundraising challenge as part of the company’s ongoing support for Kids Inspire, an Essex-based charity providing specialist mental health and trauma recovery support for children, young people and families.

For many of the team, the event marked a significant personal challenge, with several participants describing themselves as “far from natural runners” before taking on the 10k course.

Peter Moore, CEO (who also took part), said: “We’re incredibly proud of the whole team for taking part and pushing themselves for such an important cause. Kids Inspire carries out vital work supporting children and young people across our region, and we’re delighted to have exceeded our fundraising target while also helping raise awareness of the charity’s work.”

Rachel Bassett, fundraising manager at Kids Inspire, added: “We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone at Lolly who took part. We really appreciate the fact that they gave up their time to train and participate. Their support allows us to continue offering a safe space to children and families in our community who have experienced trauma to recover and heal.”
