SIHOT modernises API with REST-based SIHOT@360º
Modernised interface brings streamlined development, flexible authentication and greater security for technology partners and hotel systems
SIHOT, one of the leading hotel management systems, has upgraded its SIHOT@360º API by incorporating new REST (Representational State Transfer) interface infrastructure. The upgrade enhances integration with partner technologies, improves developer experience, and enables modern, secure data exchange methods.
The provision of REST technology represents a major leap forward in the ease and efficiency of connecting SIHOT with third-party systems. A widely adopted and developer-preferred protocol, REST offers a simpler structure and clearer code for building interfaces between SIHOT and its partner network. This significantly streamlines API development and integration processes, while providing greater flexibility and more security in how connections are authenticated.
A major enhancement includes the embedded Token Service, which supports multiple Identity Providers such as Microsoft Entra ID and Amazon Cognito, in addition to the built-in provider. This ensures a secure, scalable authentication framework between partner technologies and the SIHOT platform. Developers can authenticate through the service and be uniquely identified for all actions within the interface – improving data integrity, traceability, and system security.
