L-R: Katie Herbert, Park Royal Hotel & Spa; Kerry Allen, Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa

These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for both properties, reinforcing the group’s commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and building on their reputations as leading destinations in the region.

Kerry Allen returns to Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa following a series of previous senior operational roles within the property, including Bar & Afternoon Tea Manager and Restaurant Manager. Kerry’s career in hospitality has been varied, spanning leadership roles across food and beverage, culinary management, and operations at DoubleTree by Hilton. Kerry completed her Level 4 Hospitality Management programme with The QHotels Collection and most recently served as Interim GM at Park Royal.

Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa underwent a significant £1 million+ refurbishment last year, enhancing several areas of the resort, along with the introduction of The Sheridan Bar, a stunning new Moët & Chandon Champagne and cocktail bar. Kerry’s appointment signals a focus on continuing this momentum. Her vision for the property centres on delivering unforgettable guest experiences. She is committed to ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories, while driving the property’s growth and maintaining its position as one of Cheshire’s top hotels.

Speaking on her appointment, Kerry says: "Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa feels like home. I know the team and the property very well, and I’m excited to continue developing the guest experience further, introducing exciting initiatives such as a new restaurant in the Old Hall and our very own branded afternoon tea," said Kerry. "My focus is ensuring every guest leaves with lasting memories, while also driving the property’s growth and success."

Katie Herbert brings extensive hospitality experience to her new role at Park Royal Hotel & Spa, Warrington, having held senior operational positions across multiple leading groups and within The QHotels Collection, including cluster management for Stratford Manor and DoubleTree by Hilton Stratford.

Katie knows the Cheshire area well, having worked there previously, and brings a strong focus on both corporate and leisure markets. Her vision for Park Royal is to strengthen relationships with corporate clients, deliver a genuine home-from-home experience for leisure guests, and explore new local and regional opportunities to grow the business. Katie is also dedicated and driven on empowering her teams, ensuring they feel motivated and confident to deliver exceptional service and drive the property’s continued success.

"I am excited to strengthen relationships with our corporate clients and deliver a genuine home-from-home experience for leisure guests. My aim is to build on the property’s existing strengths, explore new local and regional opportunities, and ensure the team feels confident and motivated to deliver exceptional service," said Katie.

These appointments highlight The QHotels Collection’s commitment to internal progression, leadership development, and investment in its properties.

With Kerry and Katie championing their properties and their teams, both Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa and Park Royal Hotel & Spa are set to enhance their reputations as must-visit destinations in Cheshire, delivering exceptional service, memorable experiences, and continued growth.
